1. Incorporating CSM as part of your Affiliate Marketing strategy
Why should I incorporate CSM in my Affiliate Marketing?
Because the CSM answers your prospects three most important pre-purchase questions.
Increasingly your prospects will visit our site before making a purchase. If this happens you will more than likely lose the sale, unless you take advantage of what CSM offers.
How do I incorporate CSM in my Affiliate Marketing?
By directing your prospects to CSM first (rather than the merchant or supplier) by using a link to the particular product your are promoting.
This will not only provide your prospects with the key information they need in order to make an informed purchase decision, it will also ensure that when they click through you will be credited for the sale if a purchase occurs.
This is achieved by adding your Affiliate clickthrough link for the product or service you are promoting in your CSM account.
How much does it cost to use CSM as part of my Affiliate Marketing?
The cost is just five cents ($.05) per clickthrough in the first 14 days. After 14 days the clickthrough will be open to bidding.
Is there a limit to how long my prospect remains allocated to my account?
Yes, your prospect will be tracked and allocated to you for 14 days. If he or she makes a purchase within the 14 days your clickthrough link will be used.
After 14 days, other Members who are promoting this product or service can bid on all clickthroughs. The clickthrough link of the highest bidder will be used.
If no one bids or you have the highest bid your clickthrough link will be used.
Important note: The 14 day limit applies on to external affiliate programs. For the purposes of the CSM Affiliate program anyone you refer will be allocated to your Account for the duration of your membership. This is a great way to lock in a ongoing income stream by promoting CSM to your audience.
What if the product or service I am promoting is not currently in the CSM database?
If after doing a search you do not find the product or service you are promoting you should contact the product or service provider and ask them to participate in our service. If after explaining the benefits of the Customer Satisfaction Monitor the provider or supplier refuses to participate, it is probably time to promote another product or service from a more forward-looking provider.
Should I still incorporate CSM in my Affiliate Marketing when there is little or no data?
Yes you should for the simple reason the data can grow very quickly and also because your prospects will visit CSM either way, just to make sure.
If there is not enough data for the CSM you can pre-warn your prospects and tell them about the benefits of reporting their experience with CSM. This will give you extra credibility showing that you have full confidence in the product or service you are promoting.
Are there other benefits of using CSM in my Affiliate Marketing?
Every person you refer to CSM not only is a potential Affiliate product sale but also is a potential source of additional ongoing income for you from our Affiliate program.
You can get up to 40% of all click purchases made by anyone you refer. In other words, if any person joins CSM as a member and then takes advantage of our Affiliate program, every time they purchase clicks, you get 40% of the purchase price.
Additionally, if any business your refer joins CSM as a Premium Business Member you get 40% of all Survey Submission purchases.
Our Premium Business Members do not pay for clickthroughs, instead they pay for each individual survey completion (currently 25 cents). If a sizeable company joins this could mean thousands of dollars for you each month.

What is bidding on clickthroughs?
As the CSM database grows it will increasingly become a focal point for consumers wishing to buy goods or services as part of their pre-purchase research.
You can take advantage of this by incorporating this new pre-purchase research step into your Affiliate Marketing as described in point 1 above.
But what if you are not good at Affiliate Marketing or just learning, or don't want the hassle of writing endless articles, paying for Adwords or trying to out market the seasoned pros?
There is a simple solution. You can take a short cut by bidding on clickthroughs on the millions of products we have listed in our database.
How does bidding for clickthroughs work?
When you do a search on a product or service you will see a tab with a heading "Earn $". Clicking on that tab you will find an invitation to earn money with that product and a form where you can enter either your Affiliate link for that product or a clickthrough link.
When a consumer interested in this product clicks through to the merchant or service provider, your Affiliate code or clickthrough link will be used, providing you have the highest bid.
In order to be paid you will need to be an Affiliate of the product or service you are interested in. To become an Affiliate you will need to visit the appropriate site and follow the instructions on how to become an Affiliate.
Who pays me and how do I get paid?
CSM provides a direct click through to the product or service you are interested in using either your Affiliate code or Clickthrough Link.
If a sale is made, you will be paid by the Affiliate Program for that particular product or service not CSM.
CSM does not monitor sales or payments resulting from clickthroughs, nor does it take a slice or commission. You get paid the full amount.
What is the difference between Affiliate code and Clickthrough Link?
When you click on the "Earn $" tab of a product detail page you will see either a request for your Affiliate code or for a clickthrough link.
The Affiliate code is required for goods and services sourced through aggregators like Shopzilla.com.
In order to be able to earn money with these type of products you will need to be an affiliate of the aggregator such as shopzilla.com.
As an affiliate of the aggregator you will have your own unique Affiliate code and this is what you enter on this page.
As mentioned above CSM is not responsible for either monitoring sales or pay-per-click activity nor payments which are all done by the affiliate program of the relevant aggregator.
Clickthrough links
Clickthrough links are usually for products or services added by our Members and appear in the 'User Added' tab of product listings.
If you are interested in bidding for these products you will need to become an affiliate of the relevant product or service (assuming there is an Affiliate program).
Once you become an affiliate you will have your clickthrough link to the merchant or supplier which incorporates your Affiliate code.
Enter your clickthrough link for the product or service you are interested in and then you can start bidding and earning money with this product or service.

How can I get a 40% commission on the purchase price of clicks?
Anyone you refer to CSM using your CSM affiliate link or banner (See your User Menu), or a product banner which includes your affiliate details will have you recorded as the referrer.
If this person decides to take advantage of our Affiliate program and starts to purchase clicks, you will automatically be credited 40% of the purchase price as commission.

How can I get 40% of survey fees for business clients?
CSM provides a unique service that businesses around the world can use to monitor the performance of their business and to better understand the markets they operate in.
Consumer research is very expensive, particularly on an ongoing basis. CSM provides a new and cost-effective way for business to manage their consumer research requirements.
Participating businesses currently pay $0.25 cents per survey submission. As an Affiliate you can earn 40% of this fee for any business you refer.
